Hyderabadi Cuisine

Indian cuisine has been evolving for more than 5000 years leading to many diverse regional cuisines and many cultural influences including and not limitied to Mugal, British, Chinese and Portuguese.

City of Hyderbad in India, like the rest of the country, has a history of continuous influx of migrants from all over the world. The cuisine of this region has evolved over centuries incorporating the food and techniques of the foreign migrants into the regional cuisine. Now, we have this unique derivative cuisine called "Hyderabadi Cuisine" that has been elevated into a sublime art form, with emphasis on choosing the right spices and cooking to the right degree and time. One of the most loved and most famous Hyderabadi dish is the Biryani. The blending of Muglai and Telugu cuisines in the kitchen of the Nizam emperor resulted in this unique tasting and wonderfully aromatic dish.
